We finally made it to Kangaroo Island! We were staying at the Aurora Ozone Hotel. What is this hotel like? Read on to find out.
1. The hotel has a water view and is walkable to a couple of restaurants and souvenir shops.
2. The hotel is large and known by locals so it is easy to find.
3. Our room in the hotel was nice and came with a neat balcony that had no barrier to separate rooms; it was long and had plastic chairs you could sit on. It also provided a view of the water.
1. The heat and air wasn't easy to figure out in the room. At first, it was cold and then someone in our party figured out to turn up the heat. It got to over 80 degrees.
2. There isn't too much immediately near the hotel. Kangaroo Island is rural. We didn't have a problem with this as we had tours scheduled on the days we stayed at this hotel and were picked up at the hotel to go on these tours.
I enjoyed the fact that this hotel was walkable to the water. I was able to dip my feet in! The balcony was also nice. I would recommend this hotel to travelers who are going on tours.
