It's time to visit the Daintree Rainforest! The Daintree is located in northeastern Queensland, Australia and is the world's oldest tropical rainforest.
To get there, we first had to take the Daintree River Ferry.
We were on a tour bus so we stayed in our seats as our vehicle went on the ferry and crossed the river. We were then driven to where our Daintree River Cruise was taking place. Read on for the pros and cons of our cruise.
1. We got to see baby crocodiles! They were not easy to spot but once they were pointed out, we could see them and it was fun trying to spot one.
Can you spot the baby crocodile in the picture below?

The baby crocodile is camouflaged with the branch. Look for the top branch in the second half of the picture. The baby crocodile is lying in the middle of the branch.
2. The cruise was a nice length, about an hour and went smoothly across the water.

1. The boat was crowded. We were mostly sitting but could stand up at times. There wasn't much room or any empty seats.
2. It was hot outside and not much of a breeze as the boat traveled slowly.
This cruise was a nice introduction to the Daintree. If you haven't been on a boat in awhile or would like to spot some baby crocodiles, I would recommend it.
