A Ride on the Kuranda Skyrail

What is it like to get on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway in Queensland, Australia? Read on for the pros and cons.

The Pros

1. It was a smooth, secure ride above the rainforest canopy. We saw trees and waterfalls.

2. The gondolas were enclosed with large windows but also a glass floor! This was the first time I have been on a gondola with a glass floor - you can see through the floor as well. It wasn't scary at all, a very peaceful ride.

3. The gondolas dropped us off at Red Peak, where there are boardwalk paths to walk on to take pictures.

The Cons

1. It was raining, at times quite a downpour, which made walking on the boardwalk difficult. We didn't walk or wait around much because of this. 

2. It wasn't super clear which way we should walk on the boardwalk. Luckily, our tour guide told us he would be waiting to pick us up once we were done viewing the forest floor, and he was.

I would absolutely recommend the Kuranda Skyrail. Just try to go on a clear day!
